No frying pan, no mess

INGREDIENTS

2 slices sandwich bread
2 large eggs
½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste

Optional Add-Ins

Butter (for brushing the bread)
Dried or fresh herbs (parsley, chives, oregano)
Chili flakes or paprika
Diced bell peppers, onions, or spinach

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

1. PREPARE THE TOAST

Place the bread slices on a flat surface. Using the back of a spoon or a glass, gently press down the center of each slice to create a shallow well. This helps hold the egg in place while cooking.

If desired, lightly brush the bread with butter for extra crispiness and flavor.

2. ADD CHEESE & EGGS

Sprinkle shredded cheese around the edges of each bread slice, keeping the center clear. Carefully crack one egg into the center of each slice. Make sure the yolk stays intact.

3. SEASON

Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the eggs. Add optional toppings such as herbs, chili flakes, or diced vegetables if using.

4. AIR FRY

Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper to prevent sticking. Carefully place the prepared toast into the basket.

Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 7–9 minutes, depending on how runny or firm you like your egg yolk.
For firmer yolks, add 1–2 extra minutes.

5. SERVE

Remove carefully from the air fryer and serve immediately while hot and cheesy.
